Leicester Lions emerged victorious after Barnstaple put up some impressive first-half resistance.
The visitors started strongly, with Brendan Darley driving over for a try, converted by Tyler Gordon-Oke.
But the Lions hit back when Johnny Murdoch ran through the defence to score under the posts following a telling dummy, with Ben Young adding the extras.
Barnstaple returned to the attack and Gordon-Oke sent Connor Swan racing over.
Again the Lions responded well, and Tom Williams forcefully drove over to score anoth...
