JOSH Basham put his rugby career on hold to study for a degree and the London Irish back rower feels the move paid off as he contemplates a trip to French champions Montpellier this weekend.
Basham, 23, came through London Irish’s academy but opted to study economics at Durham University to take himself out of the rugby bubble and provide him with a different experience.
