Rob Baxter last week admitted that he was planning for next season without England and Lions star Jack Nowell and the departures from Sandy Park are set to continue.
Baxter is now set for a battle with England international tighthead Harry Williams, who is also coming to the end of his contract and is struggling to agree on new terms with Baxter.
Williams, 31, with 19 England caps to his name, has made over 150 appearances for the club he joined in 2015, this could be his last season in the West Country if an agreement isn’t reached.
