Richard Wigglesworth says there will be no ripping up of Leicester’s foundations after taking over as head coach from Steve Borthwick.
Wigglesworth would have joined the very select band of players who have played in the Premiership in their 40s had England not come calling for Borthwick after parting company with Eddie Jones earlier this month.
The scrumhalf was a player-coach with the Tigers but his promotion to head coach for the rest of the season meant he had to end his playing career early to focus on continuing what Borthwick had started.
