England's World Cup dreams can still be salvaged if the new head coach keeps an “open mind” over playing style and “learns the lessons” from Eddie Jones’ backroom staff recruitment troubles.
That’s according to former England captain Lewis Moody who hopes Jones’ successor – expected to be Steve Borthwick – will produce the same miraculous results he has produced at Leicester. The RFU hope to announce Borthwick as Jones’ successor once they have agreed a compensation deal with Tigers.
