Leicester Lions staged a second-half comeback as they edged out derby rivals Loughborough Students at Epinal Way.
The long-awaited Midlands match-up did not disappoint as the table-topping Lions squared up to a home side aiming to break into the top half of the standings again.
The home side looked in control at the break, leading 28-17, but the Lions were the stronger team after the interval and a try ten minutes from time settled the game in their favour.
