GLOUCESTER-BOUND No.8 Zach Mercer is relishing his chance to play for the Barbarians today against a New Zealand XV as he looks to push his case for World Cup inclusion.
“It will be another opportunity to step up and show I am ready for a Test-match environment,” Montpellier back row Mercer said. “It is an international shop window to prove to the England coaches that I am still here and I want to play for England again.”
