Chaos as matches end in walkovers

THERE was chaos in the final round of matches in the WRU Division 1 Cup as no fewer than six of the games ended in walk-overs and two more were postponed. That resulted in four teams topping their Group without playing in the final round of fixtures. They were all awarded a 20-0 bonus-point victory.
Mountain Ash took top spot in Group A despite their home clash with Ynysybwl not going ahead. It was a similar story for unbeaten Division 1 East leaders Newbridge, who should have been playing at Monmouth.
