Injury-blighted Hewitt set for ankle surgery

DRAGONS winger Ashton Hewitt is to have ankle surgery and is expected to be out for around eight weeks.
Hewitt, 27, recently returned after 18 months out with a knee injury sustained in April 2021.
But he suffered his latest blow in the Dragons’ URC defeat to the Sharks on October 1.
“Hopefully it’ll be no more than eight weeks, but my bad luck’s going to have to run out soon,” Hewitt said.
