EXETER University backed up their promotion ambitions with a high-octane victory over fellow league newcomers Hornets.
Tom Tribe ran in an early opening score and it set a foundation from which the university side built. Hooker Scott Butterworth proceeded to pick up his first of the day from a maul, before Hornets dragged their way back into the game through Charlie Carter, who took full advantage off a missed tackle.
