Cinderford survived a late penalty scare to edge to a one-point win over visitors Sale FC.
Sale led by 13 points at half-time, but Cinderford hit back in the second half, only for visiting fly-half Kieran Wilkinson to miss a late chance to snatch the points.
Sale opened the scoring in the third minute through Wilkinson, but the conversion was wayward.
The home side hit back as neat off-loading from Matthew Lane set up Will Hendy, who darted over.
