Johnny Sexton marked his first start of the season by crossing for one of Leinster’s eight tries as they maintained their unbeaten start to the campaign.
Sharks ran in five tries and the style of their exciting play will propel their attack coach Noel McNamara, the former Leinster academy manager and Irish U20 coach, top of the list to replace Stuart Lancaster when he joins Racing 92 next summer.
Leinster led 21-20 at the break before eventually getting to grips with the Sharks’ expansive game.
