RFU’s Past Presidents deserve respect

Having spent all its financial reserves, the RFU administration is cutting away like Sweeney Todd, and the latest to feel the blade are the venerable ranks of the union’s Past Presidents.
About 30 of them, including such illustrious former players as Peter Wheeler and Jason Leonard, have been asked by Tom Ilube, the recently appointed non-executive RFU Board chairman, to pay for the two international tickets for each Twickenham match they have previously received free.
