A FIFTH win in as many games sees Syston leading the pack in the Regional 1 Midlands and the Leicestershire side are the only left unbeaten in the division.
Adam Nunney and Sam Bird scored the tries for the early leaders as they held firm and ground out a 14-9 win over Bromsgrove.
Reece Jones converted both tries for Syston while No.10 William Harris scored all the visitors’ points.
Despite taking five victories Syston have picked up just two try bonus points, leaving them two points clear.
