Coach Callard feels happy back at home

Jon Callard says he is enjoying “the best of both worlds” after making a return to the Premiership as Bath’s kicking coach.
The former Bath and England full-back had been out of an elite rugby environment since losing his identical role at Sale Sharks a year-and-a-half ago due to Covid cutbacks.
But new Bath head coach Johann van Graan added the 56-year-old to his backroom staff over the summer, meaning a return to The Rec for Callard 20 years after he last called it home.
