Newport had been dining out all on the fact they beat Cardiff four times in a season for the first time in their history in 2021- 22, but the Blue & Blacks reversed the trend at Newport Stadium.
In the end, their win was only by a couple of points, yet after scoring five tries to lead 31-6 early in the second half they seemed to be romping home.
