Leeds Tykes came away with a much-needed first win of the season as two conversions were the difference in a fast-paced and evenly-matched affair.
Esher came out firing with a first try a mere three minutes in, thanks to winger Will Foster, though the conversion missed.
A yellow card for the home side in the tenth minute gave the visitors the opportunity for an impressive score from Seremaia Turagabeci, duly converted by Tighe Maxwell-Whiteley.
