After dropping out of the league, Hakes are raring to go again

MORE recently there was an outstanding season in 2017-18 when the Hakes, under the coaching of Rob Elloway, won both the Western Counties West Championship and the Cornish Cup. It had started in downbeat mood with the tragic death of promising wing Peter Skeggs but the club rededicated their efforts and, having taken the League, completed the double with a 20-19 win over Wadebridge.
