Dominant third period puts Shelford clear

SHELFORD showed their season ambitions with an impressive win against National 2 opponents.
The game was played out with four 20 minute periods, as the teams fielded a combination of 1st and 2nd XV players and London 1 North side Shelford started brightly, with outstanding debutant Fin Creighton pulling the strings.
A strong driving maul led to the first try by front rower Oli Emsley, who scored two on the day. Rochford hit back on 20 minutes through George Griffiths after a powerful scrum.
