Billy Vunipola is reaping the rewards of his hard labour off the field and desire to be England’s World Cup rock on it.
That’s according to Saracens head coach Joe Shaw, who believes the No.8’s mental and physical powers are almost back to the heady heights when “Big Billy” was considered irreplaceable for his country by fans and coaches alike.
That can only be a good thing for Eddie Jones as the England boss begins to finely tune his plans and squad of potential Webb Ellis Cup heroes 14 months out from the big kick off.
