Barnes leads racism claims probe

ON THE BLINDSIDE

DAVID Barnes is set to be given carte blanche by the RFU to investigate sickening racism claims made by former England centre Luther Burrell.
RFU chief executive Bill Sweeney met with Burrell ten days ago, and the union have launched an investigation that Blindside sources have said won’t leave a stone unturned.

Twickenham’s head of discipline, Barnes, left, wants to speak to players from Burrell’s former clubs and will be allowed to take whatever steps he feels are needed to get to the root of the problem.
