Injury to Rodd ‘is not serious’

BEVAN Rodd was replaced as a “precaution” during half-time but boss Alex Sanderson dismissed fears of a serious injury.
The highly-rated prop is hoping to make England’s summer tour of Australia and Sanderson said: “It was purely precautionary because he’s got a busy summer ahead. Bevan felt a click in his shoulder and will get it checked out – but I’m sure it will be all right.”
Sanderson denied not making the play-offs had marked the season out as a failure: “It’s been one of growth and redevelopment and a bit more evolution rather than the revolution that was originally planned.
