CUMBRIA held onto a strong first-half performance, to pick up a key win after Matty Houghton’s red sent the Northern side to 14 men.
It was looking like a comfortable game for Cumbria after tries from Ben Dixon, Harry Huddleston and Jamie McNaughton. But that hold slightly loosened, as East Midlands started to gain territory later in the half. With the Midlands’ side pushing, the hosts started to become ill-disciplined.
