Phipps in talks with Rockets

London Irish scrum-half Nick Phipps

LONDON Irish appear to be in the market for another scrum-half with former Wallaby star Nick Phipps now set to leave the club at the end of the season.
Phipps’ future has been up in the air for some time, but it looked like he would stay for the final year of his contract having not attracted any offers from France.
However he is now in advanced talks with Green Rockets Tokatsu, coached by former Wallaby boss Michael Cheika, about a move next season.
