Prolific Smith wants Fylde to aim higher next season

FYLDE fly-half Greg Smith is disappointed with the club’s fifth-place finish in National Two North but is excited about their freescoring attack.
Fylde have put together some good results and performances at times but Smith blames inconsistency for their failure to stay in the promotion battle.
He said: “It’s gone okay, I look back at some of the results and we’ve shown we can compete with the top sides but a lack of consistency has cost us.
