Champions Salop rattle up 23rd win

MIDLANDS Premier league winners Newport (Salop) completed their triumphant campaign with a 23rd win from 26 games with a 21-43 victory at Nuneaton.
Despite already being crowned champions Newport were in an unforgiving mood, running in seven tries.
Sam Evans led the way with a hat-trick while Ricky Bailey, Orisi Newaqaliva, Craig Wilson and Dave Manning also crossed the whitewash while Jake Leonard kicked four conversions.
Nuneaton replied with Tom Cheney, Aron Skyrme and Matthew Guilfoyle scoring in reply.
