Champpions Stockport on course for perfect season

STOCKPORT are one game away from completing a perfect season and chairman Mike Drew says the club are confident ahead of next Saturday’s season finale.
The North One West winners have won 25 out of 25 ahead of their trip to Penrith, with promotion to the North Premier assured as they are 24 points ahead of second placed Manchester.
Drew says the club were confident of winning the league going into the season but staying unbeaten all the way through has been a surprise.
