Salop confirmed as the champions

NEWPORT (Salop) were crowned champions, with their 17-26 win at Syston enough to seal the crown with a game remaining.
The Shropshire side found themselves 17-14 down at the break with Adam Nunney and Will Rudkin both scoring tries for Syston, converted by Fin Nockles who also kicked a penalty.
However, Newport hit back after the break, scoring 12 points without reply, completing their charge for the league crown.
Tries for the champions came from George Castledine, Jake Leonard, Ricky Bailey and Tom Cowell.
