Irish drop out of the Watson race

LONDON Irish appear to be out of the race to land Anthony Watson leaving the England wing a choice between moving to Leicester or staying at Bath.
Blindside reported last week that Watson had spoken to the Tigers about moving when his contract runs out this summer. Irish were only going to move for him if Nick Phipps decided to leave the club, but we understand the Aussie No.9 is staying. Watson was also linked with moves to Wasps and Sale but they have fallen by the wayside.
