A TRY from Tomos Phillips enabled Crymych to topple Hendy 13-10 and allow unbeaten Newcastle Emlyn to take over at the top of Division 1 West. It was only the second defeat of the campaign for Hendy, as Crymych’s victory took them to within a point of them in third.
Newcastle Emlyn, who made it six wins out of six with a 26-20 triumph at Llanelli Wanderers, are now a point clear at the top, while Llangennech, in fourth, are the only other unbeaten side in the league.
