A YELLOW card to prop Chloe Edwards proved costly as Harlequins lost their unbeaten record in Pool A.
With the game poised at 7-7 approaching half-time Edwards was sent to the bin by referee Katherine Ritchie. Within a minute, the Bears had made the most of the extra player, driving hooker Holly Phillips over the line.
And before Quins could clear their heads, Bristol spread the ball wide to send winger Lily Stoeger-Goddard over in the corner for another try.
