ON WHAT was a glorious day at Mortimer Park, the hosts continued their excellent run of form.
From as early as the second minute a driving maul saw Aiden Cheshire over the line, with Louis Silver adding the extras.
The home side looked like they would score on every trip to the Blaydon 22 and it was no surprise when Connor Deignan barged his way over after seven minutes, Silver again converting.
Lucs were a player down after 14 minutes when Oscar Rowley was carded for a technical infringement, but they continued to dominate...
