Eastern Counties widening the net

LIKE Mark Nelson and his Lancashire colleagues, Eastern Counties RU believes in the future of county representative rugby and hopes to support the County Championship for many years to come.
We have enjoyed competing in the northern half of Division 1 for the last few seasons. We also have sympathy for the position our colleagues in Durham have found themselves in – financing a squad to play in a national tournament is very challenging for CBs.
