Sharks tyro stars look set to stay for long term

France-bound: Nathan Hughes

■ CLERMONT Auvergne have agreed to a deal with former England No.8 Nathan Hughes to move to the Top 14 when his contract with Bristol runs out his summer.
Blindside revealed last month that Clermont had moved for Hughes, who had been linked with London Irish and Bath, where he is on loan.
Hughes, who picks up £500,000 a season, looks set to accept a pay cut to move to France.
