MEGAN Jones proved Wasps’ conductor-inchief as they steamrollered champions Harlequins to keep their end of season playoff hopes alive.
Fly-half Jones was the perfect pivot between the host’s rampaging forwards and free-running backs as the Black & Golds recorded a first ever victory over their south-London rivals.
A scrum won against the head in the opening minute set the tone, Jones’s boot stroking Wasps ahead soon after.
Heather Cowell responded with a lovely side-step to cross the whitewash, but it’d be Quins’ only hurrah...
