How to make B&1 league a success

I READ Chris Hewett’s article in last week’s edition with great interest as the idea of a B&I League is one that has intrigued me since the ‘rebel’ season in the late 90s.
Chris identifies the European aspect as being a stumbling block but if you had two divisions made up of 12 teams from each league then this could lead to an end-ofseason European Cup competition that could be similar to the NFL play offs.
