SEDGLEY PARK claimed the spoils with a passionate victory over an impressive Wharfedale side on a cold and windy afternoon at Park Lane.
The hosts couldn’t have got off to a worse start when flanker Elliot Stockton smashed over after just seven minutes, with the reliable Thomas Davidson adding the conversion.
But quickfire tries saw the home side take the lead for the first time, with winger Jamie Harrison first speeding in before scrum-half Daniel Openshaw dived over the whitewash.
