BOURNVILLE’S sound tactical game and boosting the stand-out player in centre Ma’asi Reikiti made all the difference.
Harrogate took an early lead with a Kit Keith penalty, but the game’s first try came from Callum Thompson after a forward drive, and a Mitch McGahan converted.
The next converted try came from Ed Drake-Lee after a wellworked move from lineout ball, but Harrogate narrowed the gap with a Guy Coser converted try to make it 10-14 at the break.
