Academy has bred great Tiger cubs says Jack

JACK van Poortvliet credits Leicester’s academy system with their rise up the Premiership table as they look to extend their winning league run this season to 12 at the expense of Wasps at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
Three years ago, scrumhalf van Poortvliet was part of Leicester’s U18 side that retained the Academy League title by defeating Gloucester.
The team included Freddie Steward and George Martin, who have since been capped by England, and front rowers James Whitcombe and Archie Vanes who are in the firstteam squad.
