FOR the first time in 20 months, Premiership Rugby’s Academy U18 league returned for the 2021-22 season with six games across the weekend.
Head of player development Neil McCarthy says it is fantastic news that the competition is coming back as it is critical to young players’ progress at the elite level.
“Everyone is delighted we can firstly get this competition on, but also provide a big opportunity for these players to demonstrate their worth,” he said.
