Caldy hit back in battle of new boys

CALDY edged to victory over Taunton Titans in a tight battle of the promoted teams.
Taunton enjoyed the ascendancy in the first half and had 80% of the possession, but they were unable to turn that into points, giving away penalties in the face of strong Caldy defence.
At half-time, Taunton led 24-14 thanks to tries by Charlie Wright, William Norton and George Gosling, plus three Iwan Jenkins conversions and a penalty.
Adam Aigbokhae and Michael Cartmill crossed for Caldy, with Ezra Hinchliffe converting both.
