IRELAND battled to a hard-fought win in Dublin after a week dominated by comments made by IRFU women’s director Anthony Eddy who denied that the 15-a-side game had been neglected in recent years despite Ireland’s failure to qualify for the World Cup having reached the semifinals seven years ago.
