If there was one thing that last week’s game between Bath and Saracens proved, it was that a year in the Championship has not weakened the core of the Saracens squad. It was probably the most resounding victory we will see this season.
As a farewell to owner Nigel Wray as he steps down from full control and responsibility, it was a true acknowledgement of how highly the players and staff have regarded his efforts to make the club a legend in the club game.
