Lions centre Mullins accused of stealing

FORMER Ireland and Lions centre Brendan Mullin last week appeared in court charged with stealing more than €500,000 from Bank of Ireland.
Mullin, 57, who won 55 caps for Ireland, appeared before Dublin District Court. He faces nine counts of stealing €578,000 (£495,937) from Bank of Ireland between 2011 and 2013. The former managing director of Bank of Ireland, is due back in court on November 11.
