Davies: Lions should get Prem clubs on board now for 2025

GARETH Davies believes the plans for the 2025 tour to Australia by the Lions should be sorted out immediately, starting with the Gallagher Premiership clubs to ensure the entire squad has time to train together before flying out.
The Premiership final was this year held on the same day as the Lions faced Japan at Murrayfield and a week before the opening game in South Africa and Davies, who when he was chairman of the Welsh Rugby Union was on the Lions committee, says a better relationship has to be established with the clubs.
