Kyran Bracken reports on his progress of turning Wanstead No.9 George Hardy into a professional inside 12 months

It is almost a year since I first spotted George in a midweek training session at Wanstead, but it was only until our first game earlier this month that I was able to watch one aspect of his game I had not been able to see as clearly as others: his tackling.
As the community game unboxes itself bit-by-bit from the confines of lockdown, we were able to get back to playing a proper, competitive match by heading to East London RFC for a game of three 20-minute sessions.
