SARACENS derailed Exeter’s hopes of reaching the top four by ending their sevenmatch winning streak.
Chiefs have surged towards semi-final contention since the turn of the year, beating Harlequins, Saracens and Wasps along the way, and looked close to completing an unlikely double over the two-time Premier 15s champions having led 21-10 at the break.
Sarries were forced into comeback mode as Exeter fought back against Donna Rose’s converted try and a Zoe Harrison penalty to hold the advantage.
