GB Sevens funded for Olympics

, and will unite to field a combined GB team for the 2021 season ahead of the Olympics in Tokyo.

The men's and women's GB 7s teams will compete in the World Series in the build-up to and after the Olympics in .

Charlie Hayter will be team leader and also fulfil assistant coach roles across both the men's and women's programmes.

Scott Forrest will be head coach for the women's side, while Tony Roques will be head coach for the men.

Olympic silver medalist James Rodwell, the most capped Sevens player of all time and part of the England coaching team since 2018, will assist with coaching both programmes.
