Thorpe takes the reins at Chinnor

CHINNOR have moved quickly to fill the vacancy left by Matt Williams by appointing former Premiership back rower Richard Thorpe as their new director of rugby.
Thorpe returns to the Thame-based National One club having spent the 2015/16 season there as player-coach.
The 35-year-old played 150 top-flight games during a career with London Irish, Leicester and London Welsh and represented Canada at World Cup 2015.
