Inspirational Hogg can be Lions captain says Deans

STUART Hogg is right in the mix for the Lions captaincy for next year’s trip to South Africa according to Colin Deans.
Full-back Hogg, 27, previously toured with the Lions in 2013 and 2017 and the Exeter Chiefs man seems to have been reinvigorated since being made Scotland’s leader this year.
Deans, who earned 52 Scotland caps, toured with the Lions to New Zealand in 1983 and captained them in a match against a World XV in 1986, feels fellow Hawick man Hogg could be the ideal choice to lead the side.
